Life of a Reverted Muslim

"O believers enter into Islam completely and do not follow the footsteps of Shaitan, surely he is your clear-cut enemy. If you falter after receiving the clear-cut message, then keep in mind that Allah is Mighty, Wise. Are they waiting for Allah to come down to them in the shadow of clouds, along with the angels, and make His decision known? Ultimately all matters will be presented to Allah for decision"
(Surah Al-Baqara, Ayah 208-210)

Auspicious Date

Number doesn't bring any significant in one life if we never put our effort and work on it. By hoping that when we do something on certain date it will bring prosperity or luck is "shirk" (associate partner with Allah/believing that other than Allah have the power to do good and harm to us) in Islam... What is the point of doing something on certain date that doesn't benefit you either in this world or neither in the hereafter?

Now think about this, if you choose to marry on a certain date because it is easier to remember or because is nice, do you think your spouse are marrying you because they really want to or they marry you because of the date?

If you plan to make a changes in your life starting on certain date because is easy to remember then please look back on how many resolution you have made in the past that you believe also is a good date but yet it there not much changes in your life?

Be realistic and logical that is not the date that make the different but is our action, attitude and perseverance that will make the different....

Muslim do have FREEDOM

Every Muslim have freedom - FREEDOM TO CHOOSE TO OBEY OR DISOBEY. When you do something you love, you dont feel like being pressure to do it and in fact you love doing it for the sake of Allah - The Creator. As The Creator of the heaven and the earth and all of us here, He knew what is best for us and some has been made know to us with reason and some He doesnt but God still give us freedom in this world to choose. Muslim mean someone who SUBMIT to the will of God - The Creator so now ask ourselves this question;

Do we SUBMIT to the  OF GOD or do we SUBMIT to our own DESIRE?

Would you like to SUBMIT to the WILL OF GOD like the previous Prophets - Noah, Abraham, David, Moses, Jesus & The last & final Messenger, Muhammad (peace & blessing upon all of them) or you would like to submit to your own DESIRE just like those who Allah allow to go astray?

p/s We read Fatihah at least 17 times a day but how many of us really understand what it means?
